2013年，愛爾眼科醫院集團與中南大學聯合成立專業的眼科醫學院——中南大學愛爾眼科學院，主要培養眼科碩、博士高級醫療人才；2014年，再度與湖北科技大學聯合成立愛爾眼視光學院。2011年和2015年，愛爾眼科先后成立“愛爾眼視光研究所”和“愛爾眼科研究所”。至此，愛爾眼科打通了眼科的醫、學、研三大領域，學院和研究所的成立將使愛爾眼科的科研及臨床水平得到顯著提升，并以此推動中國眼科醫療事業的發展和進步。
In 2013, Aier and Central South University jointly set up Aier School of ophthalmology, CSU, to educate and train medical professionals with advanced degrees; Once again in 2014, Aier joined the Hubei University of Science and Technology to establish the Aier School of Ophthalmology & Optometry. In 2011 and 2015, Aier established the Aier Institute of Optometry and Aier Institute of Ophthalmology respectively. At this point, Aier has bridged all three areas of medicine, education and research, the establishment of these educational and research institutions will significantly boost our research and clinical standards.
截止2016年，愛爾眼科所屬的專業眼科專家和醫生團隊達到近3000名，包括一大批碩士生導師、博士生導師、博士、博士后、留學歐美的學者以及臨床經驗豐富的核心專家，是中國眼科領域備受矚目的有生力量。
As of 2016, Aier has recruited and trained over 3000 doctors and specialized experts, many of whom have studied in elite institutions in Europe and the US. They are China’s driving force in ophthalmology.
2014年7月9日，世界銀行行長金墉參觀考察愛爾眼科長沙醫院，并在全球發展中愛爾眼科的可持續公益慈善模式。2015年，愛爾眼科收購香港亞洲醫療集團，開啟愛爾眼科國際化步伐，2017年，愛爾眼科收購美國知名眼科中心，國際化步伐再下一城。
On July 9,2014, the President of the World Bank Jim Yong Kim visited Changsha Aier Eye Hospital and promoted Aier’s unique sustainable philanthropic model in developing countries. In 2015, Aier acquired Hong Kong Asia Medical Group and paved the way for Aier’s internationalization. In early 2017, Aier acquired a renowned eyecare center in American, which brought Aier’s international expansion to a new stage.

In 2014, Aier launched the "Partnership Program" in the healthcare industry to focus on changing the ecological environment for ophthalmologists and maximizing the creativity and initiative of core members. It is expected that by the end of 2017, Aier will have 200 eye hospitals which provide high quality and multi-level eye care to more people.
漢中陽光愛爾眼科醫院作為全國的眼科醫院連鎖機構-愛爾眼科的直屬醫院，2012年經漢中市衛生主管部門批準設立的眼專科醫院，原位于漢中啤酒廠對面，占地2000平米，開設有白內障科、青光眼科、眼底病科、視光學科、兒童弱視斜視科、綜合眼病科、內科、麻醉科、醫學檢驗科等二級臨床科室，并有著西安愛爾古城眼科醫院強大的技術力量支持，醫院配備多名眼科專家及眼科新設備，為漢中市及周邊縣城眼病患者解決了很多眼科方面的疑難雜癥。
2018年，其更名為漢中愛爾眼科醫院，隸屬于愛爾眼科集團，占地7000多平米，是陜南地區體量較大的專業眼科醫院，依托集團雄厚的連鎖資源優勢，醫院引進和吸收大量眼科技術、新設備和醫療管理理念，全面開展近視手術、超聲乳化治療白內障、高齡近視眼白內障、青少年近視防控、醫學驗光配鏡、斜弱視、青光眼、角膜病、小兒眼科、眼外傷以及眼部整形等眼病診療服務項目。
本院成立七年來，始終將漢中地區青少年近視防控工作作為核心業務持續發展，每年1-18歲的近視、弱視患者門診達到13000人左右，青少年矯正近視人數5000余人次。七年來與本地區教育部門合作，已為全市130余所幼兒園和中小學提供了包括近視防治課堂宣講和眼部篩查體檢，并建立了60000多名6-15歲青少年視力篩查檔案。目前已成為漢中地區具有影響力的青少年眼病防治機構。
2018年國家衛生健康委員會疾病控制局、教育部體育衛生與藝術教育司和陜西省衛生健康委綜合監督處組織開展青少年近視調查工作，我院成為漢中市一家負責此工作的眼科醫療機構，為漢中15所學校6000多名學生進行了專業的近視篩查，這不僅是政府對我們的信任，也是對我們醫師專業能力的極大肯定。
